Artworks created at the Brodsky Center at PAFA are signed by the artist, and they are accompanied by a documentation sheet of the edition size, signed by the collaborative printer and the artist.
Artworks are sold unframed. If you require advice on how to frame or install your work, the Brodsky Center at PAFA’s staff will be happy to share general guidelines.
Payment Options
We accept credit cards as a form of payment. After confirming your purchase with PAFA Art Sales Manager, please call the PAFA Museum Store to process the transaction at 215.972.2057 (Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm; Sunday 11:00 am to 5:30 pm).
Shipping information
The Brodsky Center at PAFA inspects each artwork before it is shipped to confirm that it is in pristine condition. To ensure that it arrives safely, the artwork is shipped unframed and flat, in acid free packaging, firmly secured to avoid shifting during travel, and in between double layers of cardboard sheets.
The Brodsky Center at PAFA ships the artworks via Federal Express and requires a signature upon delivery. Please notify the Brodsky Center at PAFA for any special delivery instructions and address, including if you prefer to have the artwork shipped directly to your framer. Insurance, duties, taxes or fees on international shipments are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
Please take care and do not use knives or scissors when opening the package.
Return Policy
The Brodsky Center at PAFA cannot accept returns. Please examine the work on arrival.
Artwork Damaged in Shipping
Please note that the Brodsky Center at PAFA does not accept any liability for damage inflicted on artwork during shipment or unpacking of the artwork.
The Brodsky Center at PAFA documents and inspects the quality of each artwork before it is shipped, to confirm that it is in pristine condition.
To ensure its safe arrival, the artwork is shipped unframed, in acid-free packaging, firmly secured to avoid shifting during travel, and in between double layers of rigid cardboard sheets.
Please take care and do not use knives or scissors when opening the package.
Please examine the package immediately on arrival. If you believe that the package was damaged in shipping, we ask that you (1) immediately take clear pictures of the damaged package; (2) open the package, inspect the work and, if you believe that the artwork was damaged in shipping, take clear pictures of the overall artwork and close-ups of the damaged area; (3) contact us immediately at gharmer@pafa.org or 215-391-4809, and include these pictures in your correspondence.
Upon inspection of the images shared by buyer, should the Brodsky Center at PAFA agree that damage occurred at the hands of the shipping company, the Brodsky Center at PAFA will request that the damaged work is safely repackaged in the same manner in which it was received and shipped back to the Brodsky Center at PAFA at the buyer’s expense, to the address above. Based on examination of the returned artwork, the Brodsky Center at PAFA will consider next steps, including refund or, when an edition is not sold out or not unique, replacement.
