Artist: Bartow, Rick

An enrolled member of the Mad River Band of Wiyot Indians, Rick Bartow was a Vietnam War Veteran and is considered a leader in contemporary Native American art. His art career spanned nearly four decades. Bartow created in may ways, including music, sculpture, drawing, painting, and prints. Bartow often created images related to his native heritage, including animals such as the Raven.
