Charlie Hewitt is an American painter, printmaker, and public artist. His energetic and bold works deal with themes such as memory, religion, and narrative. He is well known for his “Hopeful” project, beginning with a single lighted aluminum sculpture his message of hope has now been installed at dozen of different sites.
