Prints Available for Walls
A loan program for Rutgers students to borrow an original work of art for a semester.

Begins Friday, September 22, 2017
$5 membership fee, original works of art ready to be installed

Among its numerous reasons for excellence in research and education, Rutgers is well-known for its
innovative printmaking and papermaking program run by Brodsky Center and the Visual Arts Department
at Mason Gross School of the Arts.

Rutgers students, now you will be able to borrow from a selection of works of art created at Brodsky
Center, and hang original works of art in your own room, dorm, or even apartment, for a semester.

• You will be able to embrace art while simultaneously immersing yourself in the sciences, finance,
physics, or whatever your discipline may be!
• You will have a source of inspiration during those long nights studying.
• You will have a chance to show it off when fellow students, friends, and family visit you, transforming
a dorm room into a home. Also acts as a great conversation starter!
• You will learn that actual artworks are different from reproductions, as they manifest an artist's hand
and talent, and feature characteristics found in no other object. Beauty is in the details.
• You will experience how a work's meaning responds as nature and society evolve, throughout winter,
and spring.
• You will take good care of this work of art, on our behalf.

We entrust you with the joy and honor of sharing in our mission of engaging the foremost artists of our
times to create new works in collaboration with celebrated Rutgers master papermaker, Anne McKeown,
and master printmaker, Randy Hemminghaus.

The works of art are ready to hang on your walls. Come, choose it, check it out–just like a book.
